The SciTech4Dev is an annual forum organized by the Caraga State University (CSU) as a venue where key stakeholders meet and exchange knowledge on the use of Science and Technology for sustainable development. Now on its third, this year’s forum is anchored on the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation towards Countryside Development.”

That is what SciTech4Dev (Science and Technology for Development) is trying to change! SciTech4Dev 2017 Forum is anchored on the theme “Science, Technology, and Innovation towards Countryside Development. “ This year’s resource speakers discussed on how to do just that.
The research community rejoiced over the official launching of the journal, Annals of Studies in Science and Humanities (jASSH) on September 26, 2017 at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City. Generously backed by Caraga State University (CSU), jASSH sets off to publish and widely disseminate research outputs and findings for the world.
Fourteen (14)Caraga State University (CSU) faculty members from the different colleges were trained on Cleaner Production Technology (CPT) last September 11-13, 2017 at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City. The training was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology –Caraga Region which aims to capacitate local pool of consultants and create a CPT team in the region.
The Budjong Chorale Ensemble, a premier homegrown choir of Caraga State University, triumphantly resonated its way to the 3rd Penabur International Choral Festival held last September 5-9, 2017, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
