Caraga State University - College of Education (CSU CEd) submitted compliance reports to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Region on November 18, 2022, relative to CSU CEd’s application for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) of its graduate teacher education programs.
The set of documentary requirements submitted is part of the recommendation given by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Technical Panel and the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) who visited remotely the graduate teacher education programs of CSU CEd on March 25, 2022.
Dr. Alvic A. Arnado, the CEd Dean said, that the submission of relevant documentary requirements per technical panel and RQAT recommendation is part of the process in following policies, standards, and guidelines set by the CHED for quality delivery of curricular programs.
“Certificate of program compliance for our graduate teacher education programs signifies our compliance to policies, standards, and guidelines set by CHED. I fervently believe that we are doing the right thing as far as our COPC application is concerned,” said Dr. Arnado.
The College of Education submitted the following graduate teacher education programs for COPC application: Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Management; Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education (PhDSciEd) majors in Biology and Physics; Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) majors in Educational Management, English Language Teaching, and Teaching Reading and Literature; and Master of Science Education (MSciEd) majors in Biology and Physics.
