For the eleventh (11th) time, the BS Forestry Program of Caraga State University produced another set of brilliant Topnotchers: Top 4, Top 5, Top 7, and Top 9, during the Foresters Licensure Examination 2022. Forester Lorigen Dulpina Peligro, a resident of Butuan City, secured herself in 4th place with a rating of 91.60% while Forester Rafael Gaborne Carampatana scored 90.90%, placing him in 5th place. On the 7th place is Forester Ranlie De Asis Ochavo, with a rating of 90.70% and Forester Kringle Candy Moleta Bonilla bagged 9th place with a rating of 90.60% in the recently concluded examination.
A total of Two hundred and Eighty-Three (283) examines from Caraga State University took the examination, 240 of which are first-timers while 43 examinees are repeaters. Seventy-eight and Thirty three (78.33%) of the first-time takers and 48.44% of the repeaters successfully passed the examination. The rating gave CSU a passing rate of 73.85%, 23.98% higher than the national passing rate which is 54.87%.
The Forestry Program of the College of Forestry and Environmental Science was honored and thankful for the students’ performance in this year's FLE. “The result is the culmination of the programs’ best practices,” said For. Rey N. Cossid, the College Dean of CoFES.
The October 2022 Foresters Licensure Examination was conducted on October 26-27, 2022, at PRC testing centers at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Forester released the list of successful examinees for the October 2022 Forester Licensure Exam two (2) working days after the examination date.
