The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) from the central office conducted an onsite validation at Caraga State University for the project titled, “Upgrading Flexible Teaching and Learning Experience in CSU,” on October 25, 2022. The project is led by Dr. Rolando N. Paluga, Vice President for Academic Affairs. CHED granted Caraga State University a total of Php 9,837,000 Million, for the purchase of eLearning courseware for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics courses.
CSU was visited by Mr. Gerhald Villasis-CHED Team Leader, Ms. Mayumi Belandres, Chief Research Management Division, Ms. Diana C. Aguilar-Supervising Administrative Officer, Ms. Jamie Sese, Research Management Division Staff, Mr. Carlo Luigi Asis, IDIG Secretariat, Ms. Ma. Charlene Aban, Research Management Division Staff, Ms. Estela Padilla Research Management Division Staff, Mr. Frans Olvido, Property Unit, and Mr. Richard Tabifranca, Property Unit. The main objective of their visit was to evaluate the implementation of the project, as it comes to an end.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rolando N. Paluga presented the project overview, followed by short presentations from eleven (11) faculty members across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics courses to present the navigation of the eLearning courses. The activity then ended with short testimonials from the beneficiaries of the project, represented by several students from Caraga State University, Cabadbaran Campus, on the use of the Automotive eLearning courseware.
