CSU Celebrates Family Day and Christmas Party

December 18, 2017. It was a merry day to celebrate Christmas with the CSU family.  The CSU- Sanchez Gymnasium was filled with fun and laughter, and all sorts of merriment when the CSU family celebrated its family day con Christmas party.

The chillax and cool celebration started at 4 in the afternoon and onwards.CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso opened it with a meaningful message, “Just love, love is the reason why we celebrate Christmas. It is by the love of God that He gave His only begotten son to redeem us.”

Leuphana U in Germany Associate Researcher Talks on Food Security and Diversity at CSU

Food Security and food abundance is oftentimes assumed to be related to food production. However, research shows that, that is not always the case. There is enough food produced to feed every person in the world and yet, malnutrition and hunger are still prevalent. Most often or not, social, political, cultural and demographic issues are but some of the many overlooked underlying factors. CSU Biology Faculty Trains DepEd Teachers

The Department of Biology spearheaded by Dr. Leila Ombat conducted a 4-day training course to the Department of Education teachers last November 22-25, 2017 in Caraga State University. Fifty Science teachers in the high school and elementary participated the training.The purpose of the training was to build the capability of the teachers on practical work approach in teaching science thru the conduct of field and laboratory work. This was also done to achieve the goals of performance or outcomes-based education for the participants in their research activity.

AACCUP Accreditation Continues in CSU

Caraga State University continuously aims for excellence and progress to give more quality services to its diverse stakeholders as well as to cater to the demands of this fast changing world. The whole week of November 20-24, 2017 will be another CSU accreditation week with the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). 

CSU Wins MERALCO Energy Leadership Award

Caraga State University is the Regional Winner of Meralco Energy Leadership Award, a Special category of the 2017 National Search for Sustainable and Eco-friendly Schools. The award is given to institutions that promote practices and initiatives in electrical safety, energy efficiency, and conservation measures. The energy conservation programs of CSU includethe implementation of CSU-VPA Memorandum No. 25.
