Caraga State University (CSU) is ranked 49th in the Philippines’ overall university rankings of Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index’s Top 1,000 Scientists for 2022. The University takes pride in this new feat of its faculty members. It is proof of its quality of education, and affirms CSU’s dynamic and vibrant research culture. The ranking and analysis system is based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists. It also ranks institutions based on the scientific characteristics of their affiliated members.
The faculty members who are ranked among Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index’s Top 1,000 Scientists in the country for 2022 include Dr. Joycelyn C Jumawan (Rank 638), Dr. Engielle Mae Paguican (718), Dr. Temmy P. Vales (Rank 793), Engr Jojene Santillan (Rank 831), Engr Meriam Makinano-Santillan (Rank 834) and Dr. Jess H. Jumawan (rank 933). Other faculty included in the AD Scientific Index from CSU are Dr. Michelle Japitana (Rank 1121), Dr. Gareth Fabbro (1185), and Dr. Raquel Balanay (Rank 1331). Their passion, competence, and commitment to excellence in service and uprightness resulted in exceptional achievement bringing the CSU into the limelight.
The university is truly proud of the achievements of these faculty researchers. The extraordinary dedication and outstanding performance of these scientists in Research, Innovation, and Extension are appreciated by the entire CSU community especially the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Extension (OVPRIE).
