Safe, productive, and thorough are words to describe the benchmarking of the Philippine Science High School Caraga Personnel to the Records Management Services (RMS) office of Caraga State University last March 24, 2021.
The RMS office expedited the virtual and physical benchmarking for the representatives of the Philippine Science High School Caraga headed by Ms. Emmalou C. Abar, Administrative Officer V (Records Officer III) and Mr. Christopher A. Landicho, Executive Assistant, Office of the Campus Director, PSHS.
The benchmarking was divided into two sessions. First was a virtual discussion of the University’s Records Management System and its implementation in consonance to the mandate of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP); and in compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (IOS). This was presented by Mr. Edelmar C. Juranes Jr, the former Records In-Charge.
The second session was the physical visit to the Records Management Services office for assimilation. The RMS is under the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (OVPAF) headed by Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno who was very supportive in the whole process of the benchmarking following the CSU health and safety protocol and its other standards. CSU is an ISO 9001:2015 SOCOTEC certified institution, and a 3-Star QS world ranked university.
The Philippine Science High School-Caraga Campus Director, Dr. Ramil Sanchez channeled the request to the office of the CSU President. CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso directed the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance to facilitate the said request through the Records Management Services (RMS) office.
CSU is open to accommodate more benchmarking requests from the external public. It is living its core values of Competence, Service and Uprightness. OVPAF/ARP/pico
