Caraga State University tops the 2016 Mining Engineering Licensure Examination. CSU gets top 9 in the person of Engr. Vince Ivan F. Libao garnering 87.60% and top 1 in the person of Engr. Nestor dela Cerna Opeña, Jr. with a passing rate of 89.80%.
According to an analysis of one of our engineers, Engr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, “the recent figures from the recent Mining Engineering Board Examination is impressive for one, 81.47 national passing rate (211 out of 259 passed the board (maybe the highest among all engineering disciplines this year); two, 100% (35 out of 35 passed) from UP Diliman; three, four of the top 10 new engineers are from Caraga region (2 from CSU and 2 from SPU); four, the 3 schools from Mindanao USEP, CSU and SPU have at least 80% passing percentage on the average among other schools from other regions.
