BIR recognized CSU as a responsible taxpayer

Caraga State University was recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for its unwavering support and contribution having promptly remitted the cumulative amount of Ph. 29,989,084.36 as of August 31, 2022 representing Witholding Taxes.

Accordingly, CSU has manifested a continuing partnership with BIR that significantly contributed to the outstanding collection performance of Revenue District Office No. 103-Butuan City and of the entire region.

The BIR officers noted the very first time that the regional office gave an award of appreciation and recognition to an institution. Atty. Dante E. Tan, BIR Revenue District Officer with Mr. Romeo B. Bautista- Chief Collection Section, Ms. Gladys E. Amaba-Chief Administrative Section and Ms. Sobaida A. Dimala-Revenue Officer personally handed the award to some CSU officials.
