Caraga State University got fourteen (14) Awards from the Commission on Higher Education. CSU is among the fifty four (54) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Caraga region. The Awards were given at Balanghai Hotel, Butuan City on January 9, 2018 during the Regional Conference of the Caraga HEIs key personnel. CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso received the awards from CHED Regional Director Maricar R. Casquejo.
The “Hakot Awards” were: Top placers in the Foresters Licensure Examination for 2017 (1s,t 2nd, 4th, 5th, two 7th placers and 9th.); First and fifth placers in the Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination 2017; Most Number of Scholars for the CHED K-12 Scholarships for Graduate Studies-Local; Most Number of Scholars for the CHED K-12 Scholarships for Graduate Studies-Abroad; Center of Development (COD) for Biology; Center of Development (COD) for Information Technology, Center of Development (COD) for Mathematics; First Place, Essay Writing Competition, 2017 National Statistical Month Celebration; Place, Poster Making Competition, National Statistical Month Celebration, National Level; and First Place, Poster Making Contest, National Statistical Month Celebration both for Regional Levels; Second four other plaques for CSU and CHED Project Partnerships like the establishment of Virtual Learning Facility Project, K-12 Institutional Development and Innovation Grant for CSU Innovation Center Project, Grant for the development of NANO Particle-Decorated Paper Based Sensor Rapid Sensing Metal Ions research project; and recognition for active participation in all CHED-HEIs projects in Caraga Region. piaea
