The Caraga State University Alumni Association Incorporated (CSUAAI) with the Alumni Relations Office and Public Information Office of the University heighten its environmental sustainability advocacies through its alumni homecoming activities.
On one sunny day of May, a number of Balik-Butuan Butuanons trooped to Caraga State University to grow and hug trees. Having the passion to contribute something of relevance in their trip back to Butuan, Butuanons from all over the globe came to Caraga State University for tree growing and tree hugging.
Caraga State University led by its university president Dr. Anthony M. Penaso set a new milestone on May 15, 2019 when its new state of the art administration building was blessed and inaugurated at exactly 6: 00 P. M.
The whole CSU family gathered together in front of the new administration building for a Sunset Cocktail Party wearing floral summer attire. In his message, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, CSU President said, “I asked God to rain blessings to CSU and blessings poured abundantly that we cannot almost contain.”
Caraga State University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso underscored the role of vibrant research culture in the academe in today’s VUCA world. ‘Our higher educational landscape has become unrelentingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous.
March 28, 2019, Caraga State University goes through immense Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by the Commission on Higher Education Region XIII. The Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation by CHED was openly and warmly welcomed by the CSU family led by its quantum leader, University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso. In his welcome remarks, Dr. Penaso assured the new CHED Director for Caraga Dr. Leonida S. Calagui how caring and talented the people of Caraga are.
