Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Commissioner J. Prospero De Vera took time out after a rigorous Board of Regents meetings with the three State Universities and Colleges in Caraga Region to go around Caraga State University and to dine with the CSU Executive Committee members on May 18, 2017.
CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso toured to CSU Commissioner De Vera and brought him to the Organic Agriculture Training Center where the key officials await them. The Commissioner was accorded the CSU welcome ritual to his delight.
Commissioner De Vera envisions to bring all state owned universities and colleges to greater heights with good governance and empowering mind set. He wants to have curricular programs that will be useful to Filipinos and accessible to all, especially to the less privileged and deprived members of our country.
The commissioner revealed how licensure examinations are better than private schools. He being a product of public schools along with his nine siblings believes in our public education system.
