September 7, 2020. Caraga State University has set about its first Virtual AACCUP Accreditation. AACCUP stands for Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines. It marked its remote Opening Program at 8:30 A.M. today.
In his opening remarks, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr Rolando N. Paluga noted the significance of an accreditation and how CSU embraced the mindset of “Everyday Accreditation” and welcomed the accreditors with his natural calm demeanor.
September 3, 2020. Caraga State University led by President Anthony M. Penaso underwent SOCOTEC 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit successfully. It was the 2nd Surveillance audit for CSU and CSU’s first online, remote or virtual Surveillance Audit with the SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (formerly AJA Registrar). The audit covers all the basic and mandatory requirements of an on-site audit.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga partnered with Caraga State University (CSU) in conducting a series of free webinars as part of CHED Caraga’s project entitled “CHED Caraga Virtual Capacity Building for Higher Education Institutions (HEI) Stakeholders.” CHED Caraga conducted a series of webinars to help Higher Education Institutions in Caraga Region prepare for the opening of the Academic Year 2020-2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs continued its 3rd of a series workshop on Flexible Teaching and Learning with the faculty members of the College of Education, College of Forestry and Environmental Science, College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries, College of Engineering and Geo-Science, and College of Computing and Information Systems.
The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Caraga State University with Dr. Rolando N. Paluga on the lead continued its 2nd series of Integration of Flexible Teaching and Learning in the delivery of instruction last June 11, 2020, at Caraga State University-Cabadbaran Campus. The Flexible Teaching and Learning Committee (FTLC) went to Cabadbaran Campus to orient and assist deans and all faculty members on the FTL approach and its three components.
