The Caraga State University’s Center for Renewable Energy, Automation, and Fabrication Technologies (CRAFT) was created in response to the need of the local community for technological innovation. CRAFT has worked on a research entitled “RS Program on Producing Alternative Clean Energy and Power in Partnerships with LGU in Caraga” last 2021. It was funded by CSU local funds for research.
On May 21, 2022, the Caraga State University Alumni Association Inc. held its first ever virtual general assembly at the Navigatu Center. Initiated and facilitated by the Alumni Relations Office and Public Information and Communication office with some alumni officers and two former alumni Board of Regents alumni Representative.
The Office of International and Global Engagement (OIGE) of Caraga State University has facilitated a virtual job placement orientation for our alumni through the ASE, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Dr. Jayrold Arcede, OIGE head with his staff arranged the virtual event. It was attended by a number of CSU alumni of Butuan City campus and Cabadbaran City campus, and some CSU officials on May 12, 2022.
A proud CSUAN as he declares himself, CSU alumnus Rogelio “Rodge” Cultura is now with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Radio Canada International (RCI) as one of its dependable writer/reporter. He writes stories or current events affecting a million Filipino Canadians living in North America.
Caraga State University (CSU) was awarded another Platinum Award this year, for the second time around. The Platinum Award is the highest honor that the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) annually confers to the best performing Innovation and Technology Support Offices (ITSO) during the ITSO Clustering Award held April 18, 2022, via Zoom.
