A total of 11 colleges from both campuses of Caraga State University presented their undergraduate curricular programs to the Commission on Higher Education – Caraga Region last Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the New Administration Building’s Conference Hall. This initiative ensures that CSU’s programs are compliant with CHED Memorandum Orders (CMOs) and other guidelines, well-prepared, current, and tailored to the changing needs of the labor market and society.
Seven (7) colleges from CSU-Main (CCIS, CAA, CEd, CEGS, CoFES, CHASS, and CMNS) and four (4) from CSU-Cabadbaran City (CBA, CEIT, CITTE, and CTHM) were assessed and validated by CHED – Caraga representatives. Most of these revised curricular programs are now waiting for the approval of President Daguil before implementation.
Aside from the said critiquing, one of the recommendations relayed by CHED was the offering of programs under its priority area, whether they may be undergraduate or graduate degrees.
