Caraga State University through a program dubbed as Pahinungod paid tribute to their exemplary graduates who aced their respective Licensure Examinations. The event was held at the Hon. Elisa R. Ochoa (HERO) Learning Commons Auditorium on November 9, Wednesday.
It’s as green as fresh seaweed for two Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering student researchers, now newly-licensed engineers, Shiella Grace Polongasa and Marjun Alvarado, together with their adviser, Engr. Donald Philip Sanchez, when their research paper titled "Evaluation of Guso Seaweed as Potential Material for the Development of Edible Drinking Straw" was published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Science & Technology (APST)—a Scopus-indexed journal specializing in agricultural and biological sciences, engineering, and medicine.
The Caraga State University Board of Regents chaired by Commissioner Jo Mark M. Libre has always been hands on in directing and guiding the administration of the State Universities and Colleges under his leadership. CSU is one of the blessed ones.
Dr. Lorenzo “Dodong” O. Macasocol of CSU batch 1995, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Magna cum laude radiates as an academic executive of the Department of Education (DepEd) as Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) in the province of Agusan del Norte. Dr. Macasocol also belongs to batch 2001, for his Master’s degree in Education.
