During the International Workshop on Intelligent Computing (IWIC) held at Far East University, South Korea, on May 23-24, 2023, an important collaboration between Caraga State University and the said institution was officially signed through a Memorandum Agreement (MOU) for academic and educational cooperation.
The signing ceremony was attended by various key individuals, including Caraga State University’s President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, Vice President for Executive Operations and Auxiliary Services, Dr. Michelle V. Japitana, Far East University President, Kee-il Lyu, Vice-President Seung-ryul Park, University Development Committee Chairman, Won-chan Kim, External Cooperation Office Dean, Nam Eui-Seok Nahm, and AI Computer Engineering Department Chair, Chulsoo Ye.
In his appreciation, Dr. Daguil stated that the said workshop ‘provided an opportunity’ to visit Far East University's excellent educational facilities and engage in discussions on advanced fields such as artificial intelligence, which led to the ‘establishment of future collaboration.’
Far East University’s President, Kee-il Ryu, also highlighted his hope for active exchange and collaboration focusing on shared interests, such as artificial intelligence.
