Dr. Rowena P. Varela, Vice President for Research, Innovation, & Extension (VPRIE) and Engr. Philip Donald C.

Dr. Cheryl Quindao Mentuda, a faculty from the Mathematics, College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) has earned her degree Doctor in Mathematics, from the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), Amiens France. Her dissertation is entitled Mathematical Modelling of Pest Invasion and Application to the Fight Against Pest-Borne Disease in the Philippines. Her International Advisor/Director was Dr. Youcef Mammeri of UPJV. Co-thesis Director Dr. Jayrold Arcede of Caraga State University.

The Commission on Higher Education has conducted a Mindanao Zonal Orientation on the Philippine Skills Framework (PSF) and Alignment of Higher Education Curricula with the Industry Sector last November 23, 2022, at the Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City.

Forming part of the joint research project of Caraga State University (CSU) with the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) in Amiens France, four faculty researchers from the College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) were sent to France for immersion, to include visit to the UPJV research laboratories and undertake research on November 21-30, 2022.
