Caraga State University (CSU) has successfully undertaken its ISO 9001:2015 Recertification Audit, conducted by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (formerly AJA Registrars, Inc.) last July 28-30, 2021 virtually via Zoom.
The three-day audit aimed to confirm the continued conformity and effectiveness of the management system as a whole of the University, and its continued relevance and applicability for the scope of certification, and provision of higher education programs. The said audit was led by Ms. Anna Manlangit with other seven (7) support auditors/technical experts: Ms. Merian Domingo, Ms. Mercedelin Flores, Ms.Olivia Eco, Mr. Gerard Cayetano, Ms.Ingrid Manglapus, Ms.LaureenCalmerin, and Dr. Mark Vera.
CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso welcomed the audit team and gave an inspiring message to all the CSU workforce, to continually sustain the quality management system of the institution.
Assessment began right after the introduction of the audit team and the presentation of the audit plan and orientation. Both the CSU Main Campus and CSU Cabadbaran Campus were assessed and evaluated.
The ISO Audit team led by Ms. Manlangit presented all the findings, observations, opportunities for improvement, and other positive findings on the third day. They have only seen two minor non-conformances leading to a recommendation for CSU to be an ISO 9001:2015 recertified institution. JNGT/QUAMS/pico
