The pandemic cannot stop Caraga State University President, Dr. Anthony Makinano Penaso in CSU’s journey to excellence. His winning streak continues. Recently, he earned a gamut of awards from different respectable award giving institutions. He was recognized by Asia Pacific Luminare Awards as Most Exemplary Filipino Educator of the Millennium, InstaBright International Awards, and Saceda Youth Lead as Most Exemplary Filipino Educator of the Millennium, Outstanding Educator and School Leader of the Year, and Most Inspiring Teacher of the Republic of the Philippines, respectively.
The Asia Pacific Luminare Awards is an organization that recognizes outstanding individuals and companies all over Asia. Last 26th of June, the said awarding body conducted its 4th Awarding Ceremony held at Okada Manila Hotel, which hailed Dr. Penaso as Most Exemplary Filipino Educator of the Millennium.
InstaBright International Awards is an annual recognition to notable educators around the globe, whose passion and dedication to education have immensely contributed to the country where they serve. During the 2021 InstaBright International Awards, Dr. Penaso received 2 accolades, namely: Most Outstanding Educator of the Year, and Most Outstanding School Leader of the Year. The said ceremony was conducted virtually via Facebook Live on June 26, 2021.
This year, Dr. Penaso will receive the Saceda Youth Lead Award as Most Inspiring Teacher of the Republic of the Philippines. Since 2013, the organization has been awarding teachers and school heads in the country who possess strong leadership, passion and dedication to education, which have become great inspiration to the youth. The Awarding Ceremony will be at Dumaguete City on July 20-22, 2021.
On August 20, 2021, at the Manila Hotel, Dr. Penaso will be receiving the Gintong Parangal Award as Outstanding University President of the Year. EJA/pico
