The Caraga State University (CSU) hosted the Third Quarter Full-Time Delivery Unit (FDU) meeting yesterday, August 8, 2024, with executives from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the four State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) of the Caraga region.
Said meeting highlighted discussions on the physical, financial, and income performances of the four SUCs and CHED as of June 30, 2024. The deliberations covered the reports and status of locally funded projects, catch-up plans, revenue performance, infrastructure developments, policy updates, and best practices.
Leading the representatives from DBM was Regional Director Maria Fe D. Jagna. University President, Dr. Daguil, was also present to welcome the rest of the delegates, including Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) President Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, and Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) OIC-President and current CHED OIC-Regional Director Alma Sy-Patron.
The quarterly FDU meetings are organized to ensure that government agencies, such as the SUCs, maximize their allocated resources to improve the quality of education at their respective institutions.
