A proud CSUAN as he declares himself, CSU alumnus Rogelio “Rodge” Cultura is now with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Radio Canada International (RCI) as one of its dependable writer/reporter. He writes stories or current events affecting a million Filipino Canadians living in North America.
Based in CBC headquarters in Toronto Canada, Rodge also works with the other members of the CBC Editorial Team in Montreal and Vancouver. CBC is the biggest and most trusted news organization in Canada. It is a public broadcast network. RCI where he is also a member is the multilingual news platform of the CBC.
A former ABS-CBN News Operations Specialist for eight years, Rodge Cultura resigned from the ABS-CBN network in the Philippines in 2018 to move to Canada with his family. While in Canada, Rodge studied and completed a diploma program in Broadcasting, TV, and Film Production.
Rodge Cultura belongs to CSU batch 2006. He graduated with honors and was a recipient of a President’s Leadership Award. Prior to migrating to Canada, the Caraga State University recognized him as one of its Outstanding Alumni for Public Service in the field of Mass Communication. He’s one of the ten alumni who received the First Governor General Francis Burton Harrison (GGFBH) award in 2017. ARO-PICO
