CSU Takes Part in Ramsar Site 1009 Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary Conference

Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary celebrated its 20^th year since its enlistment in November 1999 as a wetland of international importance in the Ramsar List last November 11-13, 2019 at Almont Inland Hotel, Butuan City, with a theme Ramsar Site 1009: Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary – Celebrating Platinum Anniversary and Facing the Future.

CSU BOR Approves OVPAF Administrative Manuals

The administrative manuals for the Office of Administration and Financeand the Income Generation Project (IGP), both crafted under the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, were duly approved by the Caraga State University Board of Regents during the 49^th BOR Meeting (Special) per BOR Res Nos. 49-16 and 49-17, heldat Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City last October 17, 2019.

CSU Partners with AusAID and PCAARRD on Rubber Research

The project on rubber research will be handled by two faculty members from CAAI and COFES. Dr. Raquel M. Balanay of the College of Agriculture and Agri-industries, and Mr. Richie P. Lador of the College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences.

Two CSUANS Top the 2019 Foresters Licensure Examination

Caraga State University once again produced two topnotchers in the concluded 2019 Forester’s Licensure Exam.

Debbie Jale Tambor placed 7^th with a rating of 91.20, while Junalyn Villafane landed at 8^th place with 91.15, a few points behind Tambor.

The Junior Foresters Association of the Philippines (JFAP), Forest Ecological Society (FES), and the Caraga Environmental Advocates of Caraga State University joined the river clean-up on September 23, 2019, conducted in barangay Tiniwisan to promote green environment and waste management.
