A testament to this dedication was the annual RDE In-House Review last August 30, 2023, organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension (OVPRIE) and led by the Director for Research and Development Publication Office (RDPO), Dr. Joycelyn C. CSU REPEATS THE FEAT! This time, three (3) BS Mining Engineering graduates – now mining engineers – secured top spots in the list of successful examinees who garnered the first 10 highest places in the recent Mining Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) held last August 22-24, 2023. Jerry C. Camingao is this year’s top 3 (86.55%), followed by Daryl P. Suarez in the 6th (85.60%) and Christine Jade J.
In a significant move designed to bridge the gap between academia and the fast-evolving semiconductor and electronics industry, Caraga State University (CSU) has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry of the Philippines, Foundation, Inc. (SEIPI), held August 18, 2023, at JPark Island Resort & Water Park, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
TODAY, August 16 – Faculty, staff, and executives paid tribute to the statues of the late Governor Francis Burton Harrison and legislator Elisa R. Ochoa, who were instrumental in championing Proclamation No. 4, later amended to Proclamation No. 239. The latter granted ownership of certain parcels of land to Caraga State University in 2011.
