September 11, 2024 - Caraga State University, through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) and the Quality Assurance Management Services (QuAMS), carried out a concurrent internal program accreditation survey in preparation for the scheduled AACCUP Hybrid Program Accreditation Survey Visit on September 16-19, 2024. Division Chief for Strategic Foresight and Management, Mr. Clark Aries B. Ingles, coined the activity as KASICAS: Keen Accreditation Survey for Institutional Commitment to Academic Standards.
A total of nine (9) programs were assessed for their readiness to meet accreditation requirements. This included two (2) undergraduate programs, six (6) graduate programs that will undergo a third survey, and one (1) graduate program that will be subject to a preliminary survey visit.
The opening of the internal program accreditation survey was conducted via Zoom in the morning, and a presentation of findings in the afternoon was conducted face-to-face at the Activity Loft of HERO Learning Commons.
