CSU and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mainit, Surigao del Norte signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to implement the MapX Project on September 8, 2023, at the Municipal Hall of Mainit.

Caraga State University (CSU) officials met with Governor Angel Amante on September 5, 2023, at the Agusan del Norte Provincial Capitol to discuss the following:

September 5, 2023 – Butuan City Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada vowed support to CSU’s College of Medicine (COM) proposal, MapX’s mobile application, and the city’s waste management through a meeting with CSU executives led by Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, the University President.

A testament to this dedication was the annual RDE In-House Review last August 30, 2023, organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension (OVPRIE) and led by the Director for Research and Development Publication Office (RDPO), Dr. Joycelyn C. Jumawan.

CSU REPEATS THE FEAT! This time, three (3) BS Mining Engineering graduates – now mining engineers – secured top spots in the list of successful examinees who garnered the first 10 highest places in the recent Mining Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) held last August 22-24, 2023. Jerry C. Camingao is this year’s top 3 (86.55%), followed by Daryl P. Suarez in the 6th (85.60%) and Christine Jade J.
