Golden Paddlers earn championship, top spots in regional ‘Organic Agriculture’ quiz bee

Four (4) agriculture students from Caraga State University clinched the championship, 2nd, 3rd, and 8th spots in the regional quiz bee on ‘Organic Agriculture’ held at ATI RTC-13, Los Angeles, Butuan City on October 31, 2024. 

College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries‘ students Mauro Goyo, Jr. (champion), Juveriel Tenio (1st placer), Warren Abadinas (2nd placer), and Jeneffer Relabo (8th placer) bested 36 other participants from five universities and campuses in Caraga. Ms. Febie T. Paglinawan coached the CSU delegates.

Recognizing the importance of mainstreaming volunteerism in the academe, Caraga State University formalized its partnership with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on October 28, 2024.

CEGS faculty members present 50 research papers in Japan

Twenty-three (23) faculty members from the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS) participated in the 10th International Exchange and Innovation Conference on Engineering & Sciences (IEICES 2024), held at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 17-18, 2024. Recognized as one of the premier international conferences in the field, the event received 50 research papers from CSU-CEGS, all of which were accepted for presentation and subsequent publication.

DOST-PCIEERD approves three CSU projects for 2025

The Caraga State University (CSU) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and research excellence with the approval of three groundbreaking projects set for implementation in 2025. The announcement was made today, October 17, 2024, during the DOST-PCIEERD Grand MOA Signing held at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, Pasay City.

These projects will be housed in two of CSU's premier research centers, the Center for Human-Computer Interaction (CHCI) and the Mathematical and Statistical Computing Research Center (MSCRC). The approved projects are as follows:

 

CSU enacts collaboration with Police Provincial Office for knowledge transfer projects

TODAY, October 16 – Caraga State University’s College of Education (CEd) and the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (ADNPPO) have formalized their collaboration on two knowledge transfer projects by signing Memoranda of Agreement at the Office of the President.
