Caraga State University’s Academic Year 2024-2025 commences today, August 12. This year’s ENTRADA followed the flag ceremony, decorated with the theme ‘Adventure Time,’ a popular American fantasy animated television series.
As of this writing, the university has officially enrolled 14,636 students, with 9,759 registered at the Main Campus and 4,877 at Cabadbaran City. This substantial enrollment reflects CSU's expanding influence and esteemed reputation as a leading educational institution in the region.
Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, CSU’s University President, led the welcome ceremonies with an inspiring speech encouraging students to embrace the journey of growth, learning, and community while accenting the importance of unity, creativity, and determination in achieving their goals.
The University Student Government (USG) organizes the ENTRADA 2024 in collaboration with the League of Campus Organizations (LCO). ENTRADA serves as the university's traditional opening activity, designed to welcome all Golden Paddlers—new, returning, and continuing students. The event features performances, booth exhibitions and sales, and gastronomic experiences for students before they officially start their regular classes.
