The university’s ReSEED: CARAGA Regional Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (RISE) held its consortium presentation yesterday, January 30, with Caraga’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), key government agencies, and Wadhwani Foundation to propel startup initiatives and innovative strategies in shaping the region's future.
Four programs from the College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS), College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS), and Graduate School (GS) have been granted Level I and Candidate statuses by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities, Inc. (AACCUP, Inc.) following their accreditation activities last year:
The College of Engineering & Geosciences' (CEGS) Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEcE) programs have been granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through CMO No. 94 and No. 101 s. 2017, respectively. These certificates add to the list of CHED-compliant programs offered by the college, bringing the total to four.
The newly appointed Regional Director Mario Cuñado of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)- Caraga visited President Daguil on January 17, 2024.
The twofold visit included a courtesy meeting and an awarding segment, recognizing the university as an outstanding partner of DICT-Caraga.
Aiming to improve its information system, personnel of Northeastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) visited the Caraga State University (CSU) to benchmark and learn from the university’s own Financial Automation and Resource Management Systems (FARMS), January 12, 2024.
FARMS is a system developed by CSU to automate and fast track the processes of its Budget, Accounting, Procurement, Supply, Human Resource Management, and Cashier Offices.
