The Caraga State University ranked 31st in the entire Philippines and 1st in Caraga in the recent edition of uniRank’s Top Universities in the Philippines. This leading global ranking system recognized CSU and 232 Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Members and officials of the Rotary Club of Central Butuan, spearheaded by its president, Mr. Ryan C. Pulleros, PHF+1, PHS, extended its Bears of Joy project to CSU at its Childcare Room today, December 28. The project, which aims to spread happiness during the festive season by distributing teddy bears to children, is in partnership with SM City Butuan.
Caraga State University arnisadors recently showcased their talents and skills during the 2023 Batang Pinoy and Philippine National Games at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque from December 17-22, 2023. The competition, organized by the Philippine Sports Commission, brought together athletes to compete in table tennis, pencak silat, and arnis.
December 22 – The Caraga State University (CSU) emerged as this year’s champion for Best Institutional Composting Facility by the City ENRO in the 2023 Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Evaluation pursuant to the existing RA 9003 and EO 191 of the City Government of Butuan. Mr. Felix Largo Jr., CSU’s Pollution Control and Environmental Management Office (PCEMO) staff, received the award on behalf of the university at VCDU Prince Hotel, Barangay Villa Kananga, Butuan City.
CSU President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) – Caraga Regional Director Priscilla R. Sonido, CESO III, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) yesterday, December 21, 2023. This MOA outlines the implementation of a project to assess the impact of privatizing port operations within the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) Ports operating under the Port Terminal Management Regulatory Framework (PTMRF).
