President Penaso receives Magkuno Lifetime Achievement for Leadership Award from CASUC

Dr. Anthony Penaso, Caraga State University President received the Magkuno Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Higher Education and a Plaque of Commendation as former Caraga Association of State Universities and Colleges (CASUC) President.

Honors and awards are given to outstanding and dedicated former Caraga Association of State Universities and Colleges (CASUC) Presidents, whose initiatives, programs, and projects were instrumental in the promotion and advancement of quality education, sports, culture and arts in the Caraga Region and beyond.

CASUC Coordinators from four (4) State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) namely: Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), Caraga State University, Surigao del Sur State University (SDSSU), and Surigao State College of Technology (SSCT) were also given the Magkuno Achievement Award.  The award is given for exemplary leadership and dedicated service as CASUC delegation official, trainer, and coach in various State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) and Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) activities. It is also to recognize the entities’ unwavering commitment and immense contribution to the advancement of sports, culture, and the arts in the Caraga Region and beyond.
