The Caraga State University (CSU) is proud to announce a remarkable milestone in its research endeavors, surpassing an impressive 500 publications on the prestigious Scopus database.
The 500+ Scopus publications are the result of the collective efforts of 423 dedicated authors affiliated with CSU. These researchers have made significant contributions across a wide range of disciplines, including Computer Science (206), Environmental Science (88), Engineering (73), Agricultural and Biological Sciences (72), and others.
The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. has granted Level IV Re-accreditation status to three programs offered at Caraga State University – Main Campus. This represents the highest level of quality that can be awarded to a program following its accreditation.
Aiming to reduce carbon emissions while improving mobility options on the campus, the Caraga State University’s Pollution Control Office launched its Sustainable Mobility Program on August 19, providing ten (10) bikes as sustainable transportation options at the outset.
Engr. Lord Boy Silong, a Technical Expert at the university’s Technology Transfer and Licensing Office (TTLO), won first prize at the Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest 2024, held on August 16, 2024, at the Royce Hotel in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
He demonstrated his innovative competence by pitching the Sago Pith Extracting Device, an invention developed by the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering faculty.
The Caraga State University Community observes the commemoration of Proclamation No. 239, s. 2011, today, August 16. This proclamation granted ownership of certain parcels of land in Ampayon, Butuan City, that is the ground where the university thrives today.
