Caraga State University (CSU) formalized its partnership with Xinyx to bring the Campus Connect Program to the university, which packs industry-leading tools, training, and resources for students.

The SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. recommends Caraga State University for ISO recertification after passing the external audit conducted on November 26-27, with compliance to the declared scope of certification and requirements of ISO 9001:2015

The audit evaluated the conformity of the Cabadbaran and Main campuses with the certified management system. It also looked into the management processes and documentation of select colleges and administrative offices.

Showcasing the rich ecological treasure of the region, the Caraga State University soft-launched its Natural Science Museum located in the HERO Learning Commons (University Library) on Nov 25, 2024. 

Metallurgist and Associate Professor Richard Alorro, PhD, from Curtin University, Western Australia, shared his expertise in managing mine waste and technospheric ore in the first two of the six workshop series funded by DOST-PCIEERD on November 19 and 22, 2024.

The "Mining Waste Management towards Sustainable Mining" covers critical minerals in energy transition, technospheric mining of mine wastes, metallurgy basics, and research methods. It also includes action planning and proposal writing.

Electronics and geodetic engineering students from Caraga State University won the championship, 2nd, and 4th runners-up in the regional pitching contest hosted by the Association of Caraga Educators for Geology, Architecture, Technology, and Engineering (ACE for GATE) on November 14-16 in Surigao City.
