Celebrating another year of productivity and solidarity, Caraga State University personnel from the Main and Cabadbaran campuses gathered for the Year-End Review and Family Day, December 20.

The activity highlighted the university’s accomplishments for FY 2024 relative to the LIKHA Agenda presented by University President Rolyn C. Daguil, PhD. The Family Day also featured talent showcases from colleges and offices ranging from singing, dancing, caroling, and musical play. The College of Education won the grand prize.

CSU hands over additional relief items to fire incident victims

One hundred twenty-seven (127) students affected by the fire incident near the university last November 19, 2024, received relief items and cash from the monetary and in-kind donations collated by CSU’s Task Force Jeremiah.

Alums return to CSU for homecoming; CSUAAGPI officers introduced

December 14, 2024 – The Caraga State University-Main Campus alumni convened at the Activity Loft of HERO Learning Commons for their annual Grand Alumni Homecoming. Its Alumni Association Golden Paddlers Incorporated (CSUAAGPI) newly-elected officers, including those in the federation for 2024-2026, were also presented.

The Golden Paddlers comprise graduates of CSU and its former institutions: Agusan Agriculture High School (AAHS), Northern Mindanao Agricultural College (NORMINAC), and Northern Mindanao State Institute of Science and Technology (NORMISIST).

NSTP culminates first sem with HUDYAKA

The university’s National Service Training Program (NSTP) wrapped up the first semester of the academic year with HUDYAKA 2024: A Celebration of Nurturing Solidarity, Triumph, and Progress. The culminating event was held at the university gymnasium and grounds on December 14, 2024.

DOST, CSU to establish forest products innovation, training center

To promote the Caraga region’s timber industry through sustainable production, the DOST-Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) partners with Caraga State University to establish a Regional Forest Products Innovation and Training Center.

Both parties formalized the partnership with a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed in March this year. The groundbreaking ceremony of the center site took place on December 12, 2024, at the College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (CoFES) Clonal Nursery.
