A Memorandum of Agreement signing between CSU and ANHS represented by CSU President and ANHS Principal, Dr. Dennis R. Roa happened last February 08, 2022 at the CSU-Office of the President.
The Department of Electronics Engineering (DECE) of the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS), in coordination with the Center for Renewable Energy, Automation and Fabrication Technologies (CRAFT), is implementing an Extension Project that will provide series of trainings in Science and Technology to Agusan National High School faculty. The initiative is part of the University mandate to provide capacity building and educational advancement for teachers on robotics, automation, and prototyping.
The capability training, workshops, and seminars/webinars are conducted to enhance and provide further knowledge in robotics and to promote, create collaboration, and expand linkages in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This project also aims to encourage more students to consider career opportunities in the field of robotics, automation and prototyping.
The MOA signing was witnessed by the CSU Vice President for Research, Innovation and Extension, Dr. Rowena P. Varela; CSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rolando N. Paluga; the Department of Electronics Engineering Chairperson, Engr. Lovely Mae Dagsa and the ANHS Science Technology and Engineering (STE) Program under K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum Coordinators , Ms. Marie Lou S. Paler and Mr. Nashroden Ala. LMD/pico
