November 19, 2019. Caraga State University with the Rotary Club of Central Butuan (RCCB) launched its first-ever Child Care and Breastfeeding/Changing Room projects located on the first floor of the New Administration Building, Caraga State University.
University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso approved the proposal of the Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno who is also a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow along with her fellow RCCB members.
The launching was done before the “Light up CSU” event commenced. The RCCB and university officials attended program and the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
Rtn. Rohdora J. Canlas, PHF+1 expressed her gratitude on behalf of RCCB for the partnership. Dr. Penaso, in return, thanked RCCB and VP Mordeno. President Penaso said that this would greatly help working parents with young children in the university. He emphasized that CSU is also advocating for gender and development. ARP/pico
